Transforming lives. Strengthening systems. Proving what’s possible.
Our Impact
Since 2001, more than 1.7 million people have accessed eye care through programmes supported by KCCO, including over 150,000 individuals whose sight was restored through cataract surgery.
At KCCO, impact is measured not only in numbers, but in lives changed and systems strengthened. It is a child returning to school after cataract surgery, a grandparent regaining independence, and a health worker equipped to deliver quality eye care in their community.
Across sub-Saharan Africa, we work with partners to reduce avoidable blindness through evidence-informed approaches that improve access, quality, and long-term system performance.
Stories of Impact
Behind every programme is a human story — restoring sight, supporting children’s learning, and strengthening local care.
