Working together to strengthen Africa’s eye care systems.

Professional Collaboration

At KCCO, we believe that real change happens through partnership, mentorship, and shared learning. Our professional collaboration initiatives support eye health leaders across Africa to exchange knowledge, solve challenges together, and scale solutions that work.

Whether you’re managing a district eye care programme, leading a hospital team, or shaping national strategies, we’re here to collaborate with you.

Collaborate, Learn and Grow Together

How We Collaborate

KCCO fosters strong partnerships and professional networks to strengthen eye care systems across Africa. Whether through one-on-one mentorship, collaborative projects, or regional learning platforms, we’re here to support and connect those driving change in eye health.

Empower

Mentorship & Peer Support

We connect experienced eye care professionals with peers seeking support in programme planning, hospital management, clinical service delivery and community outreach.

This includes one-on-one mentoring for hospital teams, peer exchange visits and learning sessions and remote support from KCCO technical advisors.

Collaborate

Joint Projects & Technical Support

KCCO regularly partners with hospitals, governments and NGOs to co-design and implement eye health initiatives.

This includes support for national and district-level eye care planning, program assessments and systems strengthening and monitoring, evaluation and learning collaborations.

Connect

Regional Learning Networks

We help facilitate regional and national platforms for shared learning.

This includes training alumni networks, technical working groups and regional exchange and innovation sharing.
